ABOUT THE contributor
Dr. Naseemah Mohamed
Naseemah Mohamed is a Zimbabwean native and postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Virginia. She received both her master's degree and doctorate in comparative and international education policy as a Rhodes Scholar from the University of Oxford, and her bachelor's degree in African studies and social studies from Harvard University. Her research is focused on the relationships amongst education, media, race, global politics, and violence in decolonial movements in Southern Africa in the 20th century.
